Requiem Mass Held Thurs. For Robert Cervenka Robert Cervenka, 81, of West, died at 12:25 p.m. Monday in a Taylor rest home. Requiem Mass was celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption at West. Rev. George Doskocil officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Cervenka, active as a realtor until about a year ago, had lived in West about 60 years. He was born in Hill County. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, was a past grand knight of the Knights of Columbus Council 2305 and was past president of SPJST Lodge No. 54. He was a director in the SPJST Supreme Lodge. Survivors are three sons, Bob Cervenka of Waco, Edward L. Cervenka of Dallas, and Raymond Cervenka of Austin; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Lillian) Nemecek of West; four sisters, Miss Albina Cervenka of West, Mrs. Ollie Mitchell of Fort Worth, Mrs. Frank E. Martinets of Granger and Mrs. Hattie Fuller of Waco; one brother Leo Cervenka of West; and nine grandchildren. Pallbearers were Raymond Urbanovsky and Henry Vitek of Temple, Ernest Snapka of Abbott and George Kacir, Frank Seith, and Frank Soukup of West. Honorary Pallbearers were Members of Knights of Columbus Council No. 2305 of West. Music was provided by the PTA Ladies and members of the KC Choir, directed by Nick A. Morris.
