Bio
Albina Cervenka, age 89, of West, passed away late Saturday evening, October 27, 1990 at Scott and White Hospital in Temple. A rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Msgr. George Doskocil. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery. Miss Cervenka was born June 7, 1901 in Hill County, the daughter of John and Agnes Cervenka. She was a beautician for most of her life, before retiring in 1981. She was a member of the SPJST Lodge No. 54 in West. She was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. Survivors include three sisters, Lydia Martinets of Granger, Helen Mitchell of Fort Worth, and Hattie Fuller of West; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Bob Cervenka, Jr., Calvin Kral, Edwin Kral, Jr., Billy Fuller, Steve Fuller and Richard Vitek, Jr. The West News, West, Texas, Volume 100, No. 44, Edition 1, Thursday, November 1 1990, page 7
