Lambert Barton Of West, Dies Lambert S. Barton, 51, of West died Saturday at his home, apparently of a heart attack. Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Rev. William Benish officiating. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mr. Barton was a native and lifelong resident of West. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He had worked at the post office in West from 1954 to 1973, when he took a leave of absence due to ill health. He was a member of the American Legion Post in West, the Knights of Columbus in West and St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was a former member of the West Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include his former wife, Mrs. Marlene Barton of West; four sons, Mark Barton, David Barton and Stephen Barton, all of West, and Paul Barton of Waco; a daughter, Paula Barton of West; a brother, Emmett Barton, Jr. of Pampa; and a sister, Mrs. Tom Dulock of West. Pallbearers were Jerry Cocek, Kermit English, Emil Fridel, Bobby Cervenka, Charlie Blahuta and Jesse Devers.
