Pine Bluff Commercial, Saturday, October 30, 1999, Page 4A: Obit.—Rosalie Coker Tidwell, 94, of 6412 Trinity Drive, Apartment 6, died October 28, 1999, at her home. She was born December 12, 1904, at Monroe, a daughter of the late Will Coker and Maude Albritton Coker. She worked as a registered nurse at Davis Hospital, then Jefferson Regional Medical Center for over 30 years before retiring. She was a member of the Arkansas Nursing Association. She enjoyed gardening, reading and traveling. She attended Sulphur Springs Methodist Church at Pine Bluff. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Survivors include a son, Thomas L. Tidwell of Pine Bluff; three daughters, Ethel Mae Hungerford of Pine Bluff, Carolyn Grimes of Deer Park, Texas, and Norma Drake of West Virginia; a sister, Lettie Blankenship of Eureka, California; a stepson, Edgar Tidwell of San Diego; a stepdaughter, Roma Taylor of Pine Bluff; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Fitzhugh Cemetery at Pine Bluff with Dr. Randall Reddin officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Hale-South Funeral Home.
