"Margaret (Brown) Harper was born 18 May 1755 in VA., and she died 25 NOV 1847 in Gibson County, Indiana. She is buried in Morton Cemetary." Morton Cemetary is located SW 1/4 of SE 1/4 Sec 12 T2S R9W From Indiana 57 at Mackey, Ind. go 2.5 mile on CR700S. CR700S and CR150E cross. Go north .3 miles, follow logging trail .3 miles NW. In 1909 a Cemetary Assoc. was formed to improve the Cemetary. It included Elijah Harper, Alexander Harper, John Harper, James Harper, George Harper, Mrs. Mary Harper (from Oakland City, SD), C. O. Harper, Hiram Harper, Quincey Harper. ----------------------- Information on this family came from a book in the Gibson Co. library called Tri-State.
