Beacon News, The (Aurora, IL) - Monday, October 2, 2000 Bergeron, Joan N., 72 Aurora, Sept. 30 Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary (630) 898-8634 ∼ Joan N. Bergeron, 72, of Aurora, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2000 at Provena Mercy Center Hospital. She was born June 5, 1928 in Warren, Minnesota. Joan was a member of St. Mary's Church, the Turners Club and she also taught English as a secondary language at St. Terese School. Survivors include her husband, Harvey R. Bergeron of Aurora; 3 daughters; Pamela (Robert) Torres of Wahiawa, Hawaii, and Marie J. (Michael) Green & Kathleen (Frank) McCannon both of Aurora; 2 sons; James (Susan) Bergeron of Aurora & Charles (Lynette) Bergeron of Platteville, IL.; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, her twin brother, James (Betty) Airhart of North Aurora & Terry (Doris) Airhart of Drifwood, Texas; her sister, Bernadette Bennett of Ruston, Louisiana; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendall & Jean (Wavra) Airhart; her brother, Murray Airhart and her sister, Lorraine Schantzen. A memorial mass will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church. Fr. William F. Morrissey will officiate. A private interment service will be held at a later date. A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, October 3 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. with a liturgical wake service at 7:00 p.m. at The Daleiden Lake St. Mortuary, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora. 630-898-8634.
