Marie J. Green, 62, of Wilmington, IL, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at home. She was born September 9, 1954 in Aurora, IL to Harvey and Joan (Airhart) Bergeron. Marie grew up in Aurora, attended St. Mary's Grade School and graduated from Aurora Central Catholic High School. Marie married Michael Green on February 1, 1995 in Barbados. They moved to the Shadow Lakes subdivision in Wilmington, IL in May 2001. Marie worked in the finance office at several car dealerships in the Fox Valley area and later as a recruiter for Action Temps, Inc. in Naperville. Marie also worked part-time in the office at Shadow Lakes where she and Michael enjoyed life on the water with their cats, Sassy and Cosmo and Marie's collection of giraffes. Survivors include her husband Michael Green of Wilmington, IL; her step-daughters: Stacia (Ben) Shafer of Sugar Grove, IL and Lisamarie Vanovermeiren of Chicago, IL; her grandchildren: Jessica Fahnestock (Mike DeKing), Taylor (Sean) Davidson, Evan Shafer and Gavin Shafer; her great-grandchildren: Haven DeKing and Liam Davidson; and her brother-in-law Paul (Alice) Green of Montana. Marie is also survived by her siblings: Pamela (Robert) Torres of Wahiawa, Hawaii, James (Sue) Bergeron of Yorkville, IL, Charles (Lynette) Bergeron of Plattville, IL and Kathleen (Frank) McCannon of Aurora, IL; her aunt Bernadette Bennett of Ruston, LA; several nieces and nephews: Angeleen (Rick) Gatto, Melissa (Will) Ross, Roxane (Michael) Newton, Timothy (Elizabeth) Bergeron, Philip (Kelly) Bergeron, Michele (James) Brown, Lisa (Steven) Fox, Janice Bergeron, Kristen (Ian) Adams, Michael Bergeron, Steven Bergeron and Sarah Bergeron; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Joan Bergeron; her paternal and maternal grandparents; her mother-in-law, Louise Green; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. 329
