Bio

Edward F. Podsednik, 83, of Tours passed away Monday May 5, 2003, at West Rest Haven. Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:15 at St. Martin's Catholic Church with the Rev. Isidore Rozycki as celebrant. Military Graveside Rites will follow at St. Martin's Cemetery conducted by V.F.W. Post No. 4819 of West. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Two brothers, Edmund Podsednik and Norbert Podsednik; and four sisters, Agnes Straten, Christine Pratka, Mary Dulock and Bennie Mae Pustejovsky preceded him in death. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Evelyn Podsednik of Tours; son, Duane Podsednik and wife Amy of Tours; daughters, Pam Podsednik and Karen Robinson and husband Les, all of Waco; grandchildren, Scott Podsednik, Shana Podsednik, and Courtney Robinson; brothers, Frank Podsednik and wife Willie Mae of Elm Mott and Tommy Podsednik and wife Millie Ann of Arlington; sisters, Sister Marie Podsednik of San Antonio and Helen Hrabal of Oklahoma City, Okla.
