Bio

Sarah Ann "Sallie" Shotts was born to Daniel Francis "Frank" Shotts and Mary Jane Hurt Shotts. Sallie was born in Clarke County, MS and migrated to Texas with her parents by 1870. She married John William Middleton on 19 Oct 1886 in Milam County, Texas. Sallie and JW had one living child, Richard Francis "Frank" Middleton. Sallie is said to be buried in the Hurt Cemetery north of Jet Thomas Bankston.
