Woodrow Wilson Middleton was born the youngest child of Richard Francis "Frank" Middleton and Martha Jane Jarrell in Wharton County, TX. By the time he was two, his parents had moved to Rush Springs, Grady County, OK. His father died on 19 Oct 1918 in Rush Springs. His mother then moved to Dayton, Liberty County, TX. His mother died on 15 Feb 1923 in Dayton, Liberty County, TX. Woodrow lived for a while in Dayton, then moved to Polk County, TX with his aunt. He then lived in Pine Grove, Polk County, with Bart and Mary Ellen Hickman. He attended school at Pine Grove School. After completing the eighth grade, he worked in the lumber business until he was drafted in the Army during WWII. After basic training in TX, he was sent to Washington, DC where he met and married Enid Florence Casber. After discharge from the Army, Woodrow and Enid moved to TX where they lived until he was transferred to Wayne County, MS in 1960. Woodrow and Enid had seven children, all still living. His siblings were Joseph Lee, George Francis, Wilfred Emery, Virgie Jewel, and Florence Lillian.
