Bio

Married Ruby Rice, Iola Texas in 1929. He was orphaned at an early age and started to working on pipelines at about 14 years of age. Was able to work as a heavy equipment operator through the depression and started working for Humble Oil (later EXXON) in 1936 and continued until retirement. He had two sons Robert Lee and Joe Newman.
