REST IN PEACE.. Services for Janice Ann Wellen, 65, of Temple will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Temple with the Rev. Ranja Cletus officiating. Burial will follow in Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple. Mrs. Wellen died Saturday, Nov. 7, at her home. She was born on Oct. 8, 1944, to Leo and Lucy Kleypas Kasberg in Westphalia. She attended schools in Westphalia and Lott, where she graduated in 1962. She married Lawrence Wellen on Sept. 4, 1966, and was a homemaker. She worked for Temple National Bank and was employed by the Temple ISD as a cook for 18 years. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Trina Marie Wellen. Survivors include her husband of Temple; a son, Ross Wellen of Temple; a daughter, Donna Kerley of Temple; three brothers, Bob Kasberg, Gerald Kasberg and James Kasberg, all of Temple; four sisters, Leonette Entrop, Nelda Poncik and Lafon Eary, all of Temple and Margie Stock of Bryan; and five grandchildren. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple.
