FROM THE MARSHALL, MINN. NEWSPAPER: OBITUARIES MRS. EMMA SAVOIE MARSHALL-Mrs. Emma Savoie, 92, died early Sunday morning at the Weiner Memorial Nursing Home. Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. There will be a prayer service at Rehkamp Funeral Home at 4 and 8 p.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Savoie was born at Aurora, Kan., on March 12, 1888. As a child, the family moved to Lyon County. She was married to Henry Savoie on Jan. 9, 1906. After their marriage the family farmed in the Marshall area until retirement several years ago. She is survived by 4 children; Eugene Savoie of Marshall, Mrs. John (Agnes) Bot of Minneota, Mrs. Hero (Marie) Maertens, Louis Savoie of Olivia; 55 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two half-brothers, George Boudreau of Dietrich, Idaho, and Fred Boudreau of Brush, Colo.; three half-sisters, Mrs. William (Eva) Shriver of Hastings, Neb., and Mrs. Henry (Lena) Parker of Ord, Neb. One son, Edward, preceded her in death. The Rehkamp Funeral Home of Marshall is in charge of arrangements.
