Henry Boudreau was born January 12, 1890, at Clyde, Kansas, and passed away December 4, 1945, at the Veterans Hospital in Lincoln at the age of 55 years, 10 months and 22 days. On December 20, 1919 Mr. Boudreau was married to Doris Runfeldt and to this union were born two daughters, Doris Mae, who died on April 6, 1944, when seven months of age, and Maxine, now Mrs. Jacob Kelin, of Cozad. In 1935 the Boudreau family moved from Hastings to Cozad where they have since made their home. For the past three and one-half years, Mr. Boudreau had been employed by W. H. Bodemer. He was a veteran of World War I. Mr. Boudreau was a kind and loving husband and father, a good neighbor and a loyal friend. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Jacob Klein, four brothers, Fred of Denver, George of Long Beach, Pete and William, both of Hastings; six sisters, Mrs. Emma Savoie, Marshall, Minn., Mrs. Laura Terral, Aurora, Colo., Mrs. Alma Smith, Denver, Mrs. Zelma Dobson, Mrs Eva Shriver and Lena Boudreau, all of Hastings. Mr. Boudreau's mother passed away of December 5th, at Hastings, and funeral services for her were to be held Monday, December 10th at Hastings. Services were held for Mr. Boudreau at the Livingston-Butler chapel in Hastings Friday afternoon, Rev. F. E. Schulst officiating. The music consisted of two songs, "Nearer, My God to Thee" and "Abide With Me." Interment was in the Parkview cemetery at Hastings. Members of the Hastings Legion Post conducted the military burial rites and pall bearers were members of the Cozad and Hastings Posts.
