Glenvil ====================== Lawrence Locomotive (Lawrence, NE), Friday, November 30, 1928; pg. 1 Married The marriage of Miss Gladys Irma Frey, daughter of Mr. F.L. Frey of Glenvil and Mr. Enos Mazour, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Mazour of Spring Ranch took place at the Loucky Catholic church (sic) on November 27, Rev. Father Cadek officiating. The couple were attended by Miss Rose Faimon as bridesmaid and by Mr. Albert Herbek as best man. These popular young people have the best wishes of a host of friends. The groom gave a free dance for his many friends in the evening at Glenvil. ====================== The Harvard Courier (Harvard, NE), Thursday, July 10, 1975; pg. 9 Enos Mazour Rites Held at Clay Center Enos L. Mazour was born March 22, 1905, at Spring Ranch to Louis and Mary Mazour. He passed away at the Mary Lanning Hospital, Hastings, Nebraska, July 1, 1975, reaching the age of 70 years, 3 months, 9 days. Enos was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sutton. He married Gladys Frey in 1928 and lived and farmed in the Spring Ranch area until 1953, when they moved to a farm east of Clay Center. He retired in 1974. He is survived by his wife Gladys E. Mazour; two daughters, Mrs. Marion (Marianne) Wolfe of Fairfield, and Mrs. Levonn (Geraldine) Peterson of Oak; two sons, Leighton Mazour of Waubun, Minnesota, and Dwaynne Mazour of Clay Center; 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Mary Hajny of Hastings and one brother, Edward Mazour, also of Hastings. Rosary was held at 9:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at the McLaughlin Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held Thursday morning at 9:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sutton with Father Clement Siwinski officiating. Interment was in St. Martin's Cemetery in Deweese. Pall bearers were Michael Wolfe, Ken Wolfe, Rod Peterson, Lorrell Peterson, Craig Mazour, and Bernard Hajny.
