The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Bleha, of the Catholic church at Fairfield. Mr. Frank Skalka and Mr. Josebh (sic) Krajicek acted as best men, and Miss Julie Janda and Miss Fannie Dvorak acted as bridesmaids. A large reception was held during the afternoon and evening at which a large number of friends of Mr. and Mrs. Lukasek gathered. The evening was spent in dancing and having a fine time in general. The Deweese band furnished music during the afternoon and evening. The groom is one of our prosperous young farmers and has a fine farm 5 miles south of Deweese, where they will make their home. The bride is one of our most popular Bohemian ladies. The people of this community join with The Hustler in wishing this estimable young couple long lives of success and prosperity. =================== The Deweese Booster (Deweese, NE), Friday, July 26, 1918; pg. 3 LOCAL HAPPENINGS Adolph Skalka and Mrs. Lucasek (sic) were married Tuesday morning and left for Omaha on the morning train. =====================
