Chandler, age 99, of Dallas, Texas passed away on March 16, 2004, in Dallas. She was born on November 19, 1904, in Alabama to Charlie and Sally (Claxton) Harrison. She married Albert Preston Chandler on February 28, 1923 in McKinney. Mrs. Chandler was a homemaker and a member of the Hillside Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. She is survived by her sons, LaVerne Chandler and wife, Mayde of Plano and Charles Chandler and wife, Birdie Jo of Dallas; daughter, Cathy Junell and husband, Bill of Cleveland, Tennessee; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 20 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. Mrs. Chandler was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; sons, Thomas and Billy Albert and baby boy Chandler; parents; brothers, Melvin, Marvin, Alton and Everett Harrison; and sister, Nora Britton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 18, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Don Bourland and Rev. Ed Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
