The Columbus Telegram, May 12, 1975 KLOKE - Mrs. Edward "Bud" (Wilma) Kloke, 46, of Rt. 3, Columbus, died Saturday after a three-week illness. Rosary will be prayed at 8:30 p.m. today at McKown Funeral Home where the body lies in state. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Platte Center, with Rev. John Starostka offiicating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. She was born Oct. 11, 1928 to Prokop and Emma (Faimon) Smutny at Madison, where she was a 1944 high school graduate and married Edward Kloke Jan. 8, 1948. They lived in Madison until moving to Columbus in 1964. Here she was employed part time at Joe and Al's IGA. She was a member of St. Joseph Church and St. Ann Sodality. Survivors are her husband; two sons, Edward Lee of Wichita, Kan., and Robert of Columbus; one daughter Judith, at home; two brothers, Lud and Rudy Smutny of Humphrey; five sisters, Libby Kreitman of Randall, Minn., Mary Bartman of Kewanee, Ill., Elsie Carstensen of Davenport, Iowa, Helen Bezdek of Omaha, Bessie Bove of Madison; three grandchildren, Christina, Brian and Paula. Her parents; sister, Sylvia Vick; and brother, Edwin Smutny, preceded her in death. The family suggests memorials to the cancer fund or donor's choice per DON
