Avelda Mozelle (Brown) Key 1928-2009 WESTMINSTER - Mozelle Kee, 81, of Westminster passed away at her home on Oct. 6, 2009. She was born on Feb. 11, 1928 in Grayson County to J.D. and Dora Cecil Brown. She was a graduate of Westminster High School and retired from Texas Instruments, Richardson in 1992 after 35 years. She married William Leonard Kee on July 26, 1947 in McKinney. Mrs. Kee was preceded in death by her husband, William Kee; son, Johnny Kee; great-grandson, Joel Kee Jr.; parents, J.D. and Dora Brown; sister, Mary Jo Geer; and brother, James Dennis Brown Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Linda and husband Butch McKay of Westminster; a son, Mike and wife Sue Kee of Pilot Grove; sisters, Melba Turner and Sue Umphress of Van Alstyne, Patsy Anderson of Westminster; brothers, Martin Brown of Van Alstyne, Curtis Brown and Billy Brown of Westminster; grandchildren, Tracey Slawson, Terri Hedrick, Stephen Kee, April Kee, David McKay, Joel Kee, Meredith Kee, Jonathan Kee, Jamie Kee, Abigail Kee, Jesse Kee and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009 at Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne with Bro. Douglas Bickenbach officiating. Interment will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stephen Kee, David McKay, Joel Kee, Jonathan Kee and Jamie Kee and David Smith. Visitation will be from 6 -8 p.m. Friday at Flesher Funeral Home.
