Bio
Lillie Thompson was born 8 AUG 1884 in Batesville, Arkansas, the daughter of George W. and Mary J Thompson. Siblings: Clarence F., Elizabeth J., Harris, Ethel and Lorena Thompson. Lillie was married to M. L. Pierce on 16 March 1902 and had 2 children by that marriage: Hiram and Elva. She later married Walter H. Phillips on 11 Nov 1906 in Independence, Arkansas, United States. They were the parents of six children: James, Don, Tom, Lewis, Lois and Roxie Phillips. Walter had been married before as well and he had 3 sons by his previous marriage, so they raised 11 children together. Lillie passed away on December 21, 1984 and was buried in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville, Independence County Arkansas, USA.
