Arrangements are under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home of Lubbock. She died Thursday, July 12, 2001. She was born Aug. 17, 1927, in Matador and married Robert P. Brock on Jan. 3, 1948. He died Feb. 13, 1997. She graduated from Matador High School. She worked for Lubbock National Bank for many years before retiring in 1940. Survivors include two daughters, Allyson Smith and Stacy Elliott, both of Lubbock; two sisters, Berndena Hawkins and Wanda Vaughn, both of Lubbock; four grandchildren.
