Vina Ann Sharum was born in Arkansas on September 3, 1929. She was 2nd of the 5 children born to John Henry King Sr. and Ola Mae Phillips King. Siblings; Loretta Marie King [Stevens/Martin/Dillard] (1927–1996), Margie Louise King [Garner] (1932 -?), George Franklin King (1936–2017) and Bobby Gene King (1938–2004). She was married to Andrew P. Sharum on 21 October 1945 in Fort Smith, Sebastian, Arkansas. She was 16 years old, so her father had to give permission for her to be wed. Vina Ann passed away on 5 July 1971 in Arkansas and she was laid to rest in the Holy Cross Cemetery Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas, USA.
