Edith Mae Hodge Bobbitt, 92, of Greenwood died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, in Fort Smith, She was a homemaker, a member of Westwood Baptist Church and veteran of the U.S. Army WWII and was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James D. Hodge; a son Ted Martin; several brothers and sisters. Funeral services were Aug. 4, 2009, at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park Fort Smith. Survivors include her husband of 11 years, Wendall Bobbitt of the home; one sister, Margie Garner and husband James of Van Buren: one brother, George King and wife Julie of Fort Smith; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Brian Kennon, Nick Garner, Gary Boyster, Tony Boyster, Glynn Sugg, James David Garner and James W. Garner.
