Albert L. Mazoch, of Beaumont, passed away at Memorial Hermann Beaumont Baptist Hospital. Born to John B. and Barbara Mazoch he attended Robert E. Lee High School and graduated from Lee College in Baytown. He had been a resident of Beaumont since 1963. He was a member of the merchant Marines and served in the Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He got his start in the welding supply business with Linde, a division of Union Carbide and in 1963 founded Coastal Welding Supply in Beaumont, Texas. A longtime member of Pinewood Country Club, he enjoyed many a round of business golf and had great pride in his company as well as the employees. This along with his love for family and friends was what gave him great joy. His wife, Mollie Ann Mazoch; and siblings, Ted Mazoch, Nettie Zapalac and Hattie Parick preceded him in death. Survivors include his son, J.C. "Chuck" Mazoch; daughter, Barbara Nelson; grandchildren, David Nelson and Mollie Nelson; brothers, Leonard Mazoch and John Mazoch and his wife Mary; and sisters, Bettie Morris and her husband Robert and Joyce Muckleroy and her husband Robbie. A Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne Catholic Church with interment at White Chapel Cemetery in Highland, Texas under the direction of Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
