Barb Jones Barb Jones (#47367273) Maiden Name: Chopskie Place of Birth: Chicago, Cook County, Illinois Place of Death: Mitchell, Davison County, SD Spouse: Richard Alt # 41832881 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mrs. Mary Alt LETCHER – Funeral for Mrs. Mary Alt, 90, who died in a Mitchell nursing home, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the United Church of Christ, Letcher, with the Rev. Don Davis officiating. Interment will be in the Butler Cemetery there. Prayer service will be held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Basham Funeral Chapel, Woonsocket. Friends may call Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon and evening at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Mary Chopskie was born March 25, 1887, to Joseph and Eva Chopskie at Chicago, Ill. On Jan 10, 1912, she married Richard Alt at Mitchell. Survivors include three sons, Aaron, Forestburg, Cecil, Mitchell, and Vivian (bud), Washington; three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Thelma) Jacobson, Minnesota, and Mrs. Karl (Olga) Woodman and Mrs. Dale (Wanna) Briggs, both of California; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Mike Chopskie, Texas, and Tony Chopskie, Louisiana.
