The Weimar Mercury, September 25, 1925: After several weeks of suffering, following a severe paralytic stroke, the soul of Mrs. Frances Heger, beloved wife of Mr. John Heger, Sr., passed into the great beyond, Tuesday of last week, and the funeral took place at St. Michael's Cemetery, this city, the following day, Revs. Szymanski, Pustka and Boeding officiating. Mrs. Heger was born at Stritez, Moravia, Nov. 10, 1856, and came to Texas with her husband fifty-two years ago. She and her husband have lived near Weimar for a long period of time, the past few years of which have been spent at their home in the northwestern part of the city. She was 67 years, 10 months and 5 days old at the time of her death. Mrs. Heger leaves beside her heart-broken, aged husband, three sons and seven daughters, as follows: Frank Heger, John Heger, Jr., and Fred Heger, Mrs. Mary Munsch of Woodsboro, Mrs. Annie Ullmann of Floresville, Mrs. Sophia Freis, Mrs. Julia Miksch, Mrs. Frances Miksch, Mrs. Emelle Rerich and Mrs. Minnie Vacek of Weimar. Also 37 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Heger was an excellent wife, a devoted, loving mother, a splendid, neighbor and friend, and will be sadly missed by everyone. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to her bereaved ones.
