The Fairfield Ia. Daily Ledger Monday October 19, 1931 DANA FUNERAL TOMORROW AT 2 Well Known Fairfield Man Passed Away Yesterday Morning Funeral services for George L. DANA, who passed away at 2:15 o'clock yesterday morning at his home, 201 East Grimes street, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Hoskins funeral home in charge of Dr. U.S. Smith of the First Methodist church. Interment in Evergreen cemetery. The body will be taken from the A. L. COOP home tomorrow morning to the Hoskins funeral home. Mr. DANA has lived in Jefferson county 56 years. He was born June 19, 1852. He suffered a stroke Friday from which he never rallied. The following children survive: Mrs. Frank WEST of Clarks, Neb., David DANA of Rose Creek, Minn.; Mrs. A. L. COOP, Mrs. Mildred WHITHAM, Earl and Clarence DANA of Fairfield. His wife preceded him in death four years ago.
