Fairfield Ia. Ledger Fairfield, Jefferson county, Iowa Saturday March 29, 1958 Pg. 6 David DANA Dies In Minnesota A former Fairfield resident passed away Wednesday, March 26, in Austin, Minn. He was David C. DANA, brother of Mrs. Will KANN and Mrs. Kate COOP, both of Fairfield. His death came after a serious illness of 10 days. Last rites and burial were held at Austin today. David C. DANA, 76, was born Aug. 17, 1881, in Fairifeld, the son of the late George L. and Harriett E. WOLF DANA (sic. a/k/a Hattie Eliza WOLF DANA). He was united in marriage on March 22, 1905, to Sarah JOHNSON, who survives. Besides his wife, he is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Earl DANA, Ottumwa; Clarence DANA, Richland; Mrs. Jennie WEST, Clarks, Neb.; Mrs. KANN and Mrs. COOP, both of Fairfield.
