Memories shared by his daughter: 54 years ago today my Daddy died. He was 54 years old. He seldom wore a suit. He was a farmer and wore overalls. He was a hard working man. This picture was a school board picture. He cared about Thackerville school and the kids that went there. His 5 daughters went to school there. I remember on Sunday mornings we would sit together and watch the Florida Boys Quartet sing on TV before we left for church. I remember him and my mama reading Bible stories to me when I was 2 or 3 years old. I Love You, Daddy!!
