Cooper Review- November 3, 1983- Mrs. Freda Nell Gillean, a former resident of Delta County passed away Thursday, October 27, in Fort Worth. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 29, at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chief Warden of Cooper officiating. Internment was made in the New Klondike Cemetery. Mrs. Gillean was born in Cooper May 25, 1926, a daughter of Julius A. and Annie Mae (Young) Acker. In 1947, she married Lloyd Basil (Bodie) Gillean and he preceded her in death in 1981. Survivors include three brothers, Roy Acker of Grand Prairie, Nobel Acker and Julius Acker, Jr. both of Arlington,TX.; three sisters, Mrs. Julia Schultz of Pasadena, Mrs. Ruby Dell Ceronski of Midwest City,OK., and Mrs. Mary Lou Grayson of Arlington; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Paul Acker, Steve Acker, Larry Maynard, Earl Schultz, Doyle Stephens and Mel Treider.
