Doyle Acker Cooper—Doyle Acker, 54, died at 1:45 a. m., Tuesday, in the veterans hospital in Bonham after a lengthy illness. He was born Sept 2, 1918 in Hopkins County, a son of J. A. and Lillie Mae (Young) Acker. He had lived in Delta County most of his life and was a veteran of World War II. Survivors are his wife, Mrs Lucille Acker, and his father, both of Cooper; three sons, Claty Acker of Houston, Rex Acker and Woodrow Acker, both of Dallas; two daughters, Miss Mary Jo Acker and Mrs. Linda Sue Long, both of Dallas; these stepchildren, Kenneth Hoenig and Marvin Hoenig, both of Houston, Richard Hoenig and Donald Hoenig, both of Dallas.
