Rosa N. "Rose" Kelso, 93, of Grand Island, NE, died Saturday, April 6, 2024, at St. Joseph Villa & Court, in David City, NE. Graveside services Thursday, April 11, 2024, in Greenwood Cemetery, in Trumbull, NE. There was no visitation at Rose's request. Rose was born April 4, 1931. in Sidney, Iowa. She was the daughter of Windell and Clara (Gray) Bell. Survivors include her sons, Dale A. (Carol) Kelso; Garry D. Kelso, twins, Roger L. (Denise) Kelso, Rodney G. (Deborah) Kelso; daughter, Judith (James) Seegebarth; grandchildren, Denver Kelso, Crystal Paddock, Jaime Olson, Jordan Scanlan, Christopher Kelso, Sarah Kelso; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Wendy Citta. Rose grew up in Nebraska City, NE, before moving to Plattsmouth, NE. After school she worked at a nickel and dime store, in Nebraska City. She married Dale B. Kelso, June 3, 1949, at St. Paul, NE. The couple made their home in Aurora, until moving to Grand Island in 1951. Dale died April 14, 2002. Rose was a devout Christian, and loved to golf. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale; great granddaughter, Jayden; infant brother, Terry; brother, Leonard; twin sisters, Erma. and Donna; sisters, Janiell, and Sharon.
