Garry Dean Kelso, age 71, of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024. Garry was born on January 28, 1953 in Aurora, NE to Dale and Rosa (Bell) Kelso. Garry graduated from SCC - Lincoln with a degree in architectural drafting and autoCAD. He retired from General Service Administration at the Denny Building in Lincoln in 2002. After meeting the love of his life, Jolene Morrison, in 1986, they were married in a leap year on February 29, 2008. In their spare time they enjoyed riding BSA motorcycles together. Garry also enjoyed working on guitars and automotive engines. He is survived by his wife, Jolene; siblings, Dale (Carol) Kelso of Westminster, CO, Roger (Denise) Kelso of Lexington, NE, Rodney (Deborah) Kelso of Grand Island, NE, and Judith (James) Seegebarth of Rising City, NE; brother-in-law, William Morrison, and sister-in-law, Jennifer Morrison; nephew, William Cole Morrison; along with other family and friends. Garry is preceded in death by his parents; and his in-laws, Robert and Lena Morrison. Per Garry's request no services will take place. Memorials in Garry's honor are designated to the Capital Humane Society, 2320 Park Boulevard Lincoln, Nebraska 68502.
