EULON WINCHESTER, age 92, of Wayne County, Kentucky passed away Saturday, September 11, 1999 at Wayne County Hospital. He was born in Wayne County, Kentucky on July 23, 1907, the son of William Winchester and Martha Jane McGowan. Both parents preceded him in death. He married Treva Gossage Winchester, who preceded him in death. He is survived by 6 children Ray Winchester of Monticello, Kentucky, Homer Winchester of New Castle, Indiana, Ruth Dick of Boggs, Virginia, Harold Winchester of McCordsville, Indiana, Elsie Sloan of Monticello, Kentucky and Emogene Hancock of New Castle, Indiana; 1 brother Hubert Winchester of Lancaster, Kentucky; 1 sister Ruth Gadberry of Russell Springs, Kentucky; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. He was self-employed as a farmer. Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 14, 1999 at 1 P.M. at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial was in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery. Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
