Ruth Gadberry, Russell County, KY (1920-2014) She was born Friday, January 9, 1920 in Wayne County, KY. She was the daughter of the late William & Martha Jane McGowan Winchester. She died Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Fair Oaks Nursing Home, Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 94 years, 3 months, and 3 days. She was a homemaker and a member of the Denham Street Baptist Church in Somerset, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Daniel Gadberry; and four sisters and three brothers. Survivors include the following: •Two children: Betty Jane (Marshall) Popplewell, Russell Springs, KY; and James Floyd (Phyllis) Gadberry, Somerset, KY •Ten grandchildren •Twenty-one great grandchildren •And a host of nieces and nephews Funeral services for Ruth Gadberry will be at 10amCT, Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Bobby Conner and Bro. David Tucker officiating. Friends may call after 5pmCT, Monday, April 14, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens 4790 W Highway 80, Somerset, KY.
