Bio
Daughter of Frank Brannon Services for Mittie E. Ivy, 81, were held at the First Baptist Church in Stamford officiated by Jack Southerland, pastor. Mrs. Ivy lived in Stamford and was a homemaker. Mrs. Ivy moved to Haskell County in 1919 and then to Stamford, Texas in 1944. Kinney Funeral Home Book 1967-1969, page 261 --------------------------------------------- Miss Mittie Brannon married N.J. Ivy on 23 December 1906. The couple moved from Corsicana to Haskell in 1919, settling in the Center Point Community. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Ivy moved to Stamford in 1944. Services for Mrs. Mittie Ivy, 81, were held in the First Baptist Church in Stamford, Texas. Survived by four sons; two daughters; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two brothers; three sisters. Haskell Free Press August 21, 1969 Provided by Searchers of our Past
