Bio

Herbert Donald Karnes came to Kansas with his parents in 1879 and stayed there the rest of his life. He had 3 brothers; J. C. Karnes and J. E. Karnes both of Studley, Kansas, S. F. Karnes of Denver, Colorado. He had 2 sisters; S. A. Dawes of Studley, Kansas and Eve E. Long of Hoxie, Kansas. Herbert's first wife was Mattie May Foster who died March 9, 1911. His second wife was Ada Mae Follis
