Ima Gene Brown Witt Flippin, 81, was escorted into the presence of her Lord on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Ms. Gene was born Nov. 29, 1927, in Wood County, to Hubert V. and Bertha Murdoch Brown. Survivors: Son, Lynn Witt and wife, Kay; granddaughter, April Witt; brother, Weldon Brown and wife, Jane; sister, Nell Craig; and numerous nieces and nephews.
