Bio

Eva Nell Craig, 90, a loving mother, nanny and aunt, joined her husband in heaven Wednesday Dec. 4, 2013. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Lakeside Church of God. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Nell was born Aug. 19, 1923, to Hubert & Bertha Brown in Alba, Texas. She was married in 1942 to Fagon Craig and enjoyed raising her boys, cooking and being a devoted homemaker. She was a longtime member of Lakeside Church of God. As a godly woman, she opened her arms to anyone who came to her door. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Fagon Craig; her sister, Gene Witt Flippin; and an infant brother. Survivors: Sons, James Craig and wife, Leesa, of Grapevine, Michael Craig and wife, Fern, of Azle and David Craig and wife, Kathy, of Russellville, Ark.; brother, Weldon Brown and wife, Jane; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
