Bio
Son of Carl and Ama Rachel (Amsberry) Foote of Nebraska. Husband of Vinnie C. Jacobsen; married on 07 June 1933. "Stiles C. Foote, formerly of Dunning, died October 15, 1991 in Broken Bow. Funeral services were October 18 at two p.m. at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow with the Reverend David Hansen officiating. Music was provided by Phyllis Saner, organist, and Evelyn Smets, soloist. Pallberaers were Bernard Sheets, Sam Spitler, Lee Thomas, Albert Thomas, Denny Glidden and Jiggs Glidden. Burial was in the Somerford Cemetery at Sargent with Govier Brothers Mortuary of Broken Bow in charge of the arrangements. Stiles C. Foote was born on November 10, 1905 at Broken Bow to Carl and Ama (Amsberry) Foote. He was a graduate of Dunning High School in 1923. He worked at the Broken Bow sale barn for several years. On June 7. 1933, he was married to Vinnie Jacobsen. Foote ranched with his brother, Chester Foote, southwest of Dunning. Mrs. Foote died in 1986. Survivors include one brother, Chester Foote of Dunning; and one sister, Velma Bowden, of Greensboro, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers, Gerald and Beryl, and two sisters, Vera and Vae."
