Mrs. Emma A. Holecek, 80, of Tours, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2005 at West Rest Haven. Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 9 at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:15 a.m. with the Rev. Isidore Rozycki as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Martin's Cemetery in Tours. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kotch Funeral Home in West. Mrs. Holecek was born Nov. 22, 1924 in Tours. She graduated from West High School and 4-C College. Emma Deiterman married Roman Holecek on Nov. 22, 1945 in San Jose, Calif. She was employed with Food Machinery Corp. and then the U.S. Government as a bookkeeper. She was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours and the Ladies Auxiliary West VFW Post 4819. Survivors include her husband, Roman, of Tours; daughters, Stephanie Murphy and Joan Manchester, both of Calif., two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
