JOHN GORDON JONES who was born in Atlanta, Georgia, January 26, 1888, the son of William Thad Jones and his wife, Julia Josephine Maddox of Tyler. John Gordon married MARY JANE BARBEE on November 3, 1911 in Tyler, Texas. MARY JANE BARBEE was the eighth child of Erastus Pryor Barbee and his wife Mary Jane Hill and was born near Tyler, Texas, July 5, 1891. John Gordon Jones died in Tyler, June 18, 1939.
