Bio
Wife of W Jasper Power Mrs. W.J. Power died at her home in Stamford 2 o’clock Wednesday morning and was buried in the Stamford Cemetery 4 o’clock Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Power had not been considered seriously ill only a few days before her death, and many who knew her were not aware of her sickness till notified of her death. Some several months ago when there was sleet on the ground she slipped and fell and fractured one of her limbs, and has not since been able to go about only with the assistance of a crutch. She with her husband and children has been in Stamford nearly since the beginning of the town. She was a member of the Baptist church and Bro. Groner, the pastor, assisted by other local pastors, performed the last rites at the grave. The Stamford News March 29, 1907
