Wife of James Perry Cox *************** Mrs. Barbara Burnett Cox was born July 9, 1845 in Putnam Co, Indiana and died at the family home near Missouri Valley, Dec 30, 1915. She was married to James P Cox October 25th, 1869. To this union were born 9 children, 7 of whom lived to maturity as follows: George, Ned, Thomas, Pearl, Sadie, Alex and Bertha. Thomas, Pearl and Sadie haved died since grown and married. Mrs. Cox was a faithful member of the Christian church for a number of years. The funeral will take place Saturday at 2:30 o'clock from the family home and burial will be in Frazier cemetery.
