Harris, Haskell Leo "Hack" Haskell Leo "Hack" Harris, 73, of Wolfe City died Wednesday from injuries sustained in a car accident south of Wolfe City. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the R.W. Owens and Son Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Larry Combs of Greenville officiating. Burial follows in Celeste/Hogeye Cemetery in Celeste. Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Son of Carter McKinley and Connie Foster Harris, he was born Aug. 4, 1935, in Wolfe City. Mr. Harris was a retired farmer/rancher. He retired from the Wolfe City Independent School District. Survivors are two sisters, Bettie Jean Eubanks of Emory and Nettie Doris Potter of Dallas; a brother, Chester Vaughn Harris of Greenville and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Danny Clark, Mac Morrow, Michael Moore and Robert "Bud" Scott. James Hoffard is honorary pallbearer. Visit and sign the guest book at www.heraldbanner.com.
