Bio

Arthur WILKE was a son of Gottlieb WILKE and Christine TRENKELBACH. He married Hulda GRAUKE in Gonzales County, Texas. THE VICTORIA ADVOCATE SUNDAY, AUGUST 2, 1964 Arthur Wilke Arthur Wilke, father of Fritz Wilke of Victoria, died Saturday in a Laredo hospital. A retired farmer, Mr. Wilke was a native of Gonzales County and was residing in Corpus Christi at the time of his death. At one time, he worked with his son at Wilke Tire Service on Goliad Highway. Funeral arrangements were pending Saturday night. Surviving are his wife of Corpus Christi; two other sons, Henry Wilke of El Campo and Albert Wilke of Corpus Christi; three daughter, Mrs. Alma Maywald and Mrs. Hilda May of Corpus Christi and Mrs. Lydia Pollen of Van Nuys, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
