Kathleen Joan “Kathy Jo” Legrande, 62, of Blair passed away Saturday, Nov 1, 2014, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Kathy was born July 9, 1952, in Fremont to Wayne and Ruby (Roumph) LeGrande. She grew up in North Bend and was baptized at St. Peter Lutheran Church in North Bend. In 1973, Kathy moved to Blair, where she worked for ENCOR. She was a member at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Kathy is survived by her stepmother, Helen LeGrande, of Fremont; brothers, Harold (and wife Eileen) LeGrande of Lincoln, Gary (and wife Jane) LeGrande of Fremont, and Dennis LeGrande of Schuyler; sisters Donna Bone of Lincoln, Janice (and husband Clyde) Wilkie of Fremont, Sharon (and husband Don) Sawtelle of Fremont, and Patricia Moeller of Hooper. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Keith Moeller; nephew, Randall Wilkie; and great nephew, Bradley Moeller. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Pam Ciulla of First Lutheran Church in Blair will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery near Cedar Bluffs. Memorials may be directed to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair. Online condolences may be left at: www.mosermemorialchapels.com
