Bio
Frank was born in Altolting, Bavaria. He was the only member of his family to emigrate to the U.S. He married Agatha Poschner . Her father was the mayor of Schnaitsee for many years and her mother came from a prominent local family. Agatha was their 12th child. In 1876 Agatha and Frank and their child Otillia came to America through the port of Baltimore and settled in Texas. Four years after coming to Texas Frank died. He was returning home with his wagon and team of mules and got stuck in the Elmfork Creek. Unable to get out of the creek with his animals, he stayed with his wagon and mules through the night It was rainy and very cold and this affected his health. He died December 15, 1882, his wife was 32 and daughter 12.
