The Pleasant Grove Review, Pleasant Grove, Utah, 18 Jul 1984 Bryan Christian Fugal, 68, Pleasant Grove, died Tuesday, July 10, 1984. He was born Nov. 13, 1915 in Pleasant Grove, to Christian A. and Delilah Richardson Fugal. he married Jennie Burch, Nov. 13, 1936 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died May 13, 1972. He married Marian W. Jense, Aug. 25, 1972 in Pleasant Grove. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove 11th Ward where he served as high priest and also in the bishopric. He was a blacksmith and welder and had worked for Fugal Construction. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Navy. Survivors include his wife: five sons, three daughters: Mrs. Gene (Kristine) Hughes and Sherman Fugal, both of Provo; Karl Allan Fugal, Elkhart, Ind.; Milton Fugal, Larry Fugal, both of Pleasant Grove; Carolyn Fugal, Sandy; and Mrs. Keith (Laurel) Jonsson, Lehi; 50 grandchildren; three step-sons and two stepdaughters: Harley Jense, Highland; Grant Jense, Dee Jensen and Arlene Jense, all of Pleasant Grove; and Mrs. Daryl (Virginia) Wilcox, Lindon; one brother, three sisters: Bruce S. Fugal, American Fork; Mrs. Maurice (Mary) Howes, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Delilah Bunker, Bunkerville, Nev.; Mrs. Leah Dingle, Las Vegas, Nev. Services were held on July 14 under the direction of Bishop Ralph Phillips of the Pleasant Grove 11th Ward. Pallbearers were Craig Hughes, Chris Hughes, Dan Fugal, Wade Jensen, Royden Wilcox and Cory Wilcox. The honorary pallbearer was Jeff Fugal. The family prayer was given by Kenneth Fugal. The prelude and postlude were played by Ellen Monson. The invocation was by Grant K. Jense. The life sketch was by Leah Dingle. Jean Halliday sang "When It's Lightin Time in the Valley," accompanied by Ellen Monson. The speaker was Neil Y. Fugal. An organ medley was played by Ellen Monson and remarks were given by Bishop Phillips. The grandchildren sang "When Grandpa Comes," accompanied by Ellen Monson. The benediction was by Sherman Fugal and the dedication of the grave was by Bruce Fugal.
