GARDNER - Services for Elizabeth Lizzie Lewis will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Gardner Baptist Church, Gardner, with the Revs. B.G. Dyess, John Everette and George Miller officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria. Lewis, 91, of Gardner died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001, in Oakdale Community Hospital. She was a member of Gardner Baptist Church and was owner and operator of the Gardner Grocery store for 32 years, retiring in 1982. She was also Post Mistress for 32 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Lewis; one son, Larry Hardy Lewis; and one daughter, Helen Robinson. Survivors include three sons, William Thomas "Sonny" Lewis of Alexandria, and Harold Rodney Lewis and David A. Lewis, both of Gardner; three daughters, Bernice Feazell and Naomi Sharbono, both of Gardner, and Lois Robinson of Hineston; one brother, Russell Leavines of Gardner; one sister, Onie Miller of Moss Bluff; and 27 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Barry Lewis, Rodney W. Lewis, Robby Lewis, Charles Ray Nash, Jamey Robinson, Mike Robinson, Shane Lewis, Donnie Sharbono, Eddie Sharbono, Tony Lewis, Craig Lewis, Bradley Lewis, Bo Nash, Gregory Robinson and James Larry Lewis. Friends may call from 2 p.m. today until time of services Tuesday in the church.
